From the 20th of august, people living in the Kapiti Coast district will have a direct service to Auckland. Air Chathams is bringing back the Kapiti Coast to Auckland route After Air New Zealand dropped it earlier this year. Air Chathams is planning to fly this route 36 times per week with there Saab 340A. Air Chathams has already started selling tickets and with up to 36 people and 1 flight attendant they can transport up to 1150 people per week between Auckland and the Kapiti coast. Paraparaumu Airport has offered 1 years free premises lease and then a 33% discount for another two years. The Kapiti Coast community is excited for this route and tickets are selling fast.
